Youth work

KYC opened its 1st estate based youth club in 2004. There is now a local youth club operating which is led by KYC and funded by the Anti-Social Behaviour Action Group in the LB of Camden Housing Department. This takes place on Westcroft Estate. In addition to the two youth sessions KYC operate from it's site on Kilburn High Road, and three sessions based in the Marian Community Centre in South Kilburn.

The youth clubs have a varied programme of activities which has included sessions such as: outside sports activities; generic activities, issue-based activities, and arts and crafts. Members of the youth clubs have devised and established their own specific set of ground rules - known as The Members Agreement which enables both young people and workers to have a clearer idea of what is expected from them and ensures the smooth running of the youth clubs.
